This is a really exciting event, with long-time Flutewise member Vicki Hodges. I know she will really inspire us!

This is about Vicki:

I’m an opera singer, confidence coach and a wellbeing choir leader. I wouldn’t be where I am today were it not for the incredible opportunities Flutewise offered me both in conquering performance nerves and nurturing my love of music. I graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in academic music, having also completed an ERASMUS year abroad on the opera course at the conservatoire in Parma, Italy. From 2014-2020 I worked with a cancer charity, setting up and running choirs for people affected by cancer. We performed all over Surrey and London (from the V&A to Vineyards!) and through the choirs I helped hundreds of people learn how to embrace their voices, leave their worries at the door and have a heap of fun singing. When coronavirus hit, the charity withdrew funding, so I launched an independently run wellbeing choir called Sing out Sutton. I am also a life coach and work individually with performers and creatives on discovering their unique voices and building confidence in their art.
