Here is another chance to be inspired by the very enthusiastic flute player, Gareth McLearnon. Quite a number of people told me they were away due to half term holiday when we first ran this event so this is an excellent opportunity to catch up.
I asked some famous flute players 7 questions including how and why they started playing, what they do now, to give us some advice and to play something for us. Gareth’s answers are extremely engaging and his performance is divine! We will play an ensemble piece to a backing track to start and end the session and afterwards I’ll send you some notes on what you have heard with links to music etc.
These short online events, held on Zoom are open to everyone who loves playing the flute and are free to attend but you must be a Flutewise member (£10 per year to join). Whether you are just starting out playing the flute or you are a really accomplished player, you will gain a great deal from being involved.
